Picked by friends and family on the 15th of October 2021 this wine is handcrafted using the celebrated sparkling noble varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier. The wine has spent nearly 3 years on the lees developing beautifully balanced characteristics before being disgorged in January 2025.
The wine has a perfect colour, shows good energy with fine bubbles, floral notes of orchard fruit, citrus and bread crust on the palate, and a silky finish.
2 x The Old Rectory Chardonnay 2024
A medium-bodied wine with pale yellow-green hues and an aromatic, spicy nose of English yellow apples, jasmine flower and fresh apricot. It has refreshing mineral undertones alongside toasty nougat and a clean finish with hints of white pepper.
2 x Cherry Orchard Pinot Noir 2024
Medium garnet in appearance. The wine shows intense aromas of red cherries, plum, cocoa, toasted vanilla and hints of tobacco leaf on the nose. Medium-bodied with balanced acidity, the palate offers black cherry and chocolate cake notes with hints of vanilla on the finish and a delightful, long, fruit-driven finish.
